Dr. Stroup obtained all of her university education in the U.S., culminating in her Doctorate of Psychology
in Clinical Psychology.
Dr. Stroup has been fortunate to be able to employ the benefits of Cognitive Therapy for her patients in
the Middle East, Europe and North America. Now, she has returned to the city of her birth, bringing with
her the most advanced and current skills in both Clinical Psychology and Cognitive Therapy.
Dr. Stroup attends numerous educational courses, seminars and workshops in Cognitive Therapy. She
also undertook an individualized training program at the Beck Institute, where she presented one of her
cases to the founder of Cognitive Therapy, Dr. Aaron Beck, and received supervision directly from him.
Dr. Stroup is board certified in the specialty of Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional
Psychology, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Psychology. She is also a certified
member of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy, and a full member of the American Psychological
Association and the Turkish Psychological Association.
